Hey, I’m Aaron! I’m a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University in the Hurricane Hazards and Risk Analysis lab, advised by Professor Ning Lin.

I study the damage caused by severe weather, especially power outages. I’m interested in how these hazards and the damage they cause may change in the future, and how we can reduce their impacts on communities and individuals.

Before Princeton, I earned my M.S. in Environmental Engineering at the University of Connecticut, working with Diego Cerrai in the Eversource Energy Center. There, I helped develop and maintain operational power outage prediction models. I also deployed field sensors and built machine-learning tools to analyze precipitation data for a NASA GPM ground validation field campaign. I previously earned a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics at UConn.
